ABOUT CUE 2016 FALL CONFERENCE

A nonprofit educational corporation founded in 1978, CUE's goal is to inspire innovative learners in all disciplines from preschool through college. With an active current membership of thousands of educational professionals, CUE supports many regional affiliates and Learning Networks. CUE conferences are California’s premier educational technology events.

 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?


Educators, technology coordinators, TOSAs, administrators, and those who are looking to see how technology can support student achievement. Many sessions and exhibits will be of special value to those involved in Title I, School Improvement Program, Data and Assessment, Future Ready, English Language Development (ELD), Special Needs, and GATE. Thousands of teachers, administrators, students, parents, and other professionals will attend the two-day conference.

 

CONCURRENT SESSIONS

Concurrent sessions are one or two-hour presentations that address all areas of the curriculum and appeal to a variety of teachers. Sessions may be given by a single speaker, team or panel who can address the needs of the novice user of educational technology as well as the more experienced professional.


KEYNOTE SPEAKERS



Keynote speakers present each day at the conference. Keynotes are sought from both inside and outside California and bring a national perspective to CUE.


CORPORATE SESSIONS

Looking to showcase your product or service with a one-hour session at the CUE 2016 Fall Conference in Napa Valley? CUE is offering spaces for interested vendors to purchase sessions. The session will allow your corporation to present your product in the best possible light. A projector, screen, and a single wired internet drop is included. Your session(s) will be also included in the conference program and listed as commercial sessions (must be submitted by published deadlines). Certain sponsorships include sessions.

ACADEMIES / WORKSHOPS



For an additional fee, you may attend one of our academies and all-day workshops held throughout the two-day conference. Academies/workshops hold 20-36 registrants. These are hands-on training to complement your regular conference registration. Coming soon!

Join us for the Monterey Bay Digital Rodeo! This is a day where educators can learn about using technology for enhancing teaching, transforming learning and empowering students.

Our efforts are focused on bringing together the best practices in innovative teaching with blended educational technology, connected learning, site leadership and classroom methods to develop deeper educator collaborations across the Monterey Bay's districts, as we embark into effectively integrating technology in Common Core and everyday learning in our schools.

Topics include: Web Tools 3.0, Technology Basics, Technology Frameworks & Standards, Enhancing Lessons with Technology, Google Apps for Education, Blending Tech in Common Core, Rethinking Learning Spaces and Digital Citizenship. 

This event will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Tiburcio Vasquez Elementary School and is open to all educators, especially those around the Monterey Bay.

eLearning Strategies Symposium

eLearning Strategies Symposium Dec. 3-5 2015 at the Costa Mesa Hilton in Costa Mesa, CA.

Given the continued rise in online and blended learning, educators across the nation are seeking strategies, resources and tools to effectively teach and learn online. In support of this development, CUE and the Stanislaus County Office of Education (previously a California Learning Resource Network (CLRN) effort), have joined forces to produce an annual two day symposium focused on eLearning. The event is called the eLearning Strategies Symposium.
 
The Symposium, to be held Dec. 3-5 2015 at the Costa Mesa Hilton in Costa Mesa, CA. We expect 400-600 K-12 educators, administrators, policymakers, industry, and advocates from across California and beyond. More information at: www.elearns.org .

ISTE 2015 Conference

For more than three decades the ISTE Conference & Expo has been the premier forum in which to learn, exchange ideas and survey the field of education technology. The event attracts upwards of 18,000 attendees and industry representatives, including teachers, technology coordinators, administrators, library media specialists, teacher educators and policy makers. WHAT IS BrewCUE?
BrewCUE is a place to enjoy a beverage with a group of other teachers interested in meeting others and learning a little more about technology in the classroom. This event is totally informal and open to anyone.
